This lobang, according to the brochure, is  ON from now until 30-June-2014.

What: 

all you need to do is just snap a photo of you (selfie) with any of the mall fashion items, upload it to your Instagram with #orchardgatewayselfie and follow their Instagram account @orchardgatewaysg.

After that, just go to the level 4, look for the concierge and ask them about the selfie promotion. They will ask you to show them your photo at Instagram and check whether you have already follow @orchardgatewaysg and then they will ask you for your particular

Then they will give the voucher!

Why: it's so simple! Take photos, upload and collect the voucher. And of course spend it! Haha...

I was gone there last Saturday with my wife and found this lobang. So we photo, upload and collect the vouchers. In the end, we used the voucher at Saizeriya and need to pay only $1.50 for 1 salmon pizza, 1 cheese burger, 1 salad set and 1 drink bar set.

[How-to] Watch HULU for FREE from PC or MAC

You can watch them for FREE at HULU (http://www.hulu.com/).

For those who haven't knew yet about HULU, HULU is a content provider, in this case movies, that allow us to watch movies from within the browser.
HULU can be accessed here: http://hulu.com

If you are living in US, you are lucky, because HULU, as this time of post, is only allowing US IP Address to watch the contents its provide.

If you are living outside US, you are also considered lucky, because that's the reason I'm writing this post. To share you how to watch it for FREE.

First thing first, please do not abuse or do anything bad to anything related to HULU/its contents and all related to this post.
And please treat this post as educational purpose only - proving that such thing is actually "technically available", since my intention posting this is to just sharing this so others can also enjoy the contents.

So let's continue.
Here is how to watch HULU for FREE:
1. PC or MAC with compatible browser (Chrome is recommended for PC and MAC)
2. Prepare the software needed, a browser add-on to download
3. Prepare the internet connection. You must have a decent internet connection to stream movies online and live.

PC or MAC with compatible browser
Either PC or MAC, my recommendation is to use Chrome. Update the chrome browser to the latest version to make sure to have the latest fastest browsing engine.

Preparing the software
If somehow you are guessing that I will make use of VPN connection to watch HULU, well you are wrong.
1. Mediahint
Open the chrome browser, search for "Mediahint" on google.
Download and install the add-on to the browser.
Last time, mediahint used to be free, but now they (Mediahint company) is charging you some amount of money to use the add-on.
But folks if you dig some more, sure you will find a way out.
But please, if you really like their work (Mediahint), please give them appreciations, at least share the world about their great add-on.

Prepare the internet connection
This is the last ingredient and is a must.
I never really tried watching HULU movies from 3G connection, but I think it will sucks and slow.
Sucks because watching movies will use much-much bandwidth, so think twice if you are not on an unlimited 3G data plan.
I also never tried watching from 4G connection, because the fact that I don't have any 4G data plan yet.

So the best thing is to use your home internet connection.
The minimum bandwidth needed to watch it online is (i will need to update this portion)

ACTION!
So after all the preparation is ready, now is time to take action!
1. Open http://hulu.com
Note the difference, before installing mediahint and after installing mediahint
Now the notification, something like "HULU is only available within United States", is gone. Yay!

2. Browse any movies you like
The rest steps are up to you. Choose and watch any movies you like.

FYI. HULU itself differentiate its contents into 2 section: FREE content and Paid subscription content.
The one you can watch for free is the FREE content. Usually the contents consist of not-so-new movies and movies series.

Do take a look at their Paid subscription contents to see if there is anything interesting to you.
If indeed there is, you can subscribe and pay the Paid subcription contents to able to watch them.
Yes, you can use the same method, using Mediahint to watch them outside US. So enjoy!

Just want to add a few things. On Mac or PC you can download ZenMate to your browser and then you can watch Hulu. On Apple TV or Roku, you can use DNS redirection service: http://vpnverge.com/what-is-dns-unblocking-service/ or VPN service.

World Cup 2014 - How to watch it for FREE | How to Stream it for FREE | World Cup 2014 FREE Streaming

So the World Cup is now almost (nearly) coming and started and somehow you still don't have any way or subsciption to your local cable TV to watch the world cup.
Here are few ways how to watch it for FREE.

1. Watch it from local TV channel.
2. Watch it at nearest bar/coffee shops.
3. Watch it from the internet.

1. Watch it from local TV channel
Of course if your local TV channel is showing world cup 2014 match, you can directly watch it from your own TV sets. Simple!

2. Watch it at nearest bar/coffee shops
If you are planning to watch the world cup together with your friends and colleagues, bar/coffee shops or any places that showing the world cup will be fine.
You can enjoy their foods/drinks while watching the match.

3. Watch it from the internet
If it's on the week days and the match at your region will be held midnight or you don't have friends or colleagues to watch it together or you don't want to spend money for foods/drinks at bar/coffee shops or simply you just want to watch it alone, then go and watch from the internet is the best way.
Of course, in order to able to watch it online and live, you will need to know what is the url address.

If you plan to watch it on any Android device, you can just download any tv streaming app from any region in the world in which the app streams the official channel that shows the world cup matches.

Take Indonesia as example. In Indonesia, RCTI is the local tv channel that officially showing the world cup 2014 matches.

So what you need to do is to look in Google Play,  and search for any tv streaming app that showing RCTI.

Download and install the TV app, and look for the official channel, in this case RCTI, and start streaming.
You will, however, hear commentators with the region native language and local advertisement since you are downloading app from that region.

Please treat this guide for educational purpose only.
If you really like to watch world cup and your local TV channel does not showing it, but your cable TV provider is showing it, please give supports to them as it's also not easy for them to get license to show the match at your region. They must spend some amount of money to be the official broadcaster of the world cup.

[Free Movie] Cartoon HD App is no longer working

Cartoon HD App is no longer working. And according to their official twitter account (@GappCenter), it is closed forever. So, movie lovers either find alternatives or rent dvd or watch movie at your nearest theater.
While most of us feel that watching free full movies are good (save money, etc), but do remember that thousands of film/movie crews jobs depend on you (and me as well). If nobody watches movies on theater or rent/buy original dvds, for sure they won't survive their jobs in the (near) future.  
So the take away for Cartoon HD closing is to start/continue appreciate other people's hard work the way you appreciate your own hard work. I know its a dilemma, but at least do give it a try!

For those who didn't know, Cartoon HD App is an app showing bunch list of movies where you can watch/download the full movies, including cartoons, top 250 Hollywood movies, and some serial movies. While for sure these contents are illegal (I believe so!) but many find this app is so good because the fact that they can watch movies (full movies) for free.
