[How-to] Watch HULU on iPhone iPad or Android for FREE

My previous post is about how to watch movies at HULU for FREE on PC or MAC.
If you have not read it, take your time to read it, as this post needs PC/MAC to be setup first.

I would like to say this post is more like a workaround on how to watch HULU for free.

As you may already know, HULU has 2 types of contents: FREE and PAID contents.
If you are now a Paid Contents subscriber, then you don't need to follow this post, as you can download HULU+ app from the app store/google play and if you are outside US, you will need to setup VPN to able watching it on your gadgets.

This post is intended to let anyone who is FREE subscriber to watch the contents on their gadgets.

Tools needed:
PC/MAC:
1. Splashtop Streamer

All the tools required is FREE.

So maybe you have guessed already what I'm going to do with all these tools and HULU.
I will setup a streaming point on my computer, where iphone/ipad/android devices will connect to it to streams.

Steps:
1. Install the required tools. Install Splashtop Streamer on computer. And install Splashtop Personal on gadgets (iphone/ipad/android devices).
2. Configure Splashtop Streamer to stream your computer content.
3. Make sure computer and gadget(iphone/ipad/android devices) connect to the same WiFi network.
4. Open Splashtop Personal app from your gadget, then config it to connect to your PC.
5. Once connected, open HULU on browser at computer, and pick and start the movie.
6. If needed, turn off the computer monitor, and enjoy watching movies from HULU on your gadget (iphone/ipad/android devices) for FREE.

This is ideal for those who hates watching from computer for whatever reasons
such as:
- size problem, because computer is bigger in size compare to gadgets and not really nice to watch from computer while in resting positions on the bed.
- location problem, you need to be in the kitchen, there is no way to bring that bulky PC/MAC from your desk/bedroom to your kitchen just because you want to watch movies.
- and many more.

So the World Cup is now almost (nearly) coming and started and somehow you still don't have any way or subsciption to your local cable TV to watch the world cup.
Here are few ways how to watch it for FREE.

1. Watch it from local TV channel.
2. Watch it at nearest bar/coffee shops.
3. Watch it from the internet.

1. Watch it from local TV channel
Of course if your local TV channel is showing world cup 2014 match, you can directly watch it from your own TV sets. Simple!

2. Watch it at nearest bar/coffee shops
If you are planning to watch the world cup together with your friends and colleagues, bar/coffee shops or any places that showing the world cup will be fine.
You can enjoy their foods/drinks while watching the match.

3. Watch it from the internet
If it's on the week days and the match at your region will be held midnight or you don't have friends or colleagues to watch it together or you don't want to spend money for foods/drinks at bar/coffee shops or simply you just want to watch it alone, then go and watch from the internet is the best way.
Of course, in order to able to watch it online and live, you will need to know what is the url address.

If you plan to watch it on any Android device, you can just download any tv streaming app from any region in the world in which the app streams the official channel that shows the world cup matches.

Take Indonesia as example. In Indonesia, RCTI is the local tv channel that officially showing the world cup 2014 matches.

So what you need to do is to look in Google Play,  and search for any tv streaming app that showing RCTI.

Download and install the TV app, and look for the official channel, in this case RCTI, and start streaming.
You will, however, hear commentators with the region native language and local advertisement since you are downloading app from that region.

Please treat this guide for educational purpose only.
If you really like to watch world cup and your local TV channel does not showing it, but your cable TV provider is showing it, please give supports to them as it's also not easy for them to get license to show the match at your region. They must spend some amount of money to be the official broadcaster of the world cup.
