[iOS] Turn off cellular data usage for certain apps

Using iOS 7, now you can configure which app you allow to use your cellular data usage.

If you are:

- having limited data plan each month

- afraid of your monthly cellular bill for data plan explode

- just don't want to use cellular for certain apps, such as App Store app to download new application

Here's what can be done:

1. On your iOS device, be it iphone or iPad, running iOS 7, look for Settings and open it.

2. Navigate to Cellular menu.

3. Scroll down until you find "Use Cellular data for:".

4. Choose your app and turn off for those you don't want them to access your cellular data.

5. Done. 

Now you can avoid any unwanted cellular data usage and save your bandwidth and monthly bill.

For me myself, I turn off cellular data for  following app:

- App Store 

- iTunes Store 

- passbook 

What happen then, if let say cellular data for App Store is turned off and somehow you need to browse/download from the app? Will it show any error or what? What if I forgot the list of app that I forbid from using cellular data?

Don't worry be happy. Apple does that for you.

The app will prompt you with warning and asking whether you want to go to setting to activate cellular data for the app. Click "Settings" if you want to reconfigure your cellular data setting or click "Ok" if you want to keep it from using your data.

[iOS] Delete iCloud Account without entering password | Turn off Find My Iphone without entering password

This post should be treat as educational purpose only.

If you are using iCloud and have the Find My Iphone turned on, you must already know that once you enable it, whenever you want to disable Find My Iphone for whatever reason, you must supply a password - your iCloud password or Apple ID password that is used for iCloud.

But according to Youtuber, Miguel Alvarado, there is actually a way to bypass entering the password when the Find My Iphone wants to be removed or iCloud account wants to be removed.

The method is simply, to disable Find My Iphone and click on Delete Account at the same time, causing the interface to -something like get confused- prompting both iCloud password and confirmation to delete the account.
When that happen - interface got confused- switch off the phone and switch it back on. Then go to iCloud settings again, to see that Find My Iphone is turned off already - YES without supplying a password - and click delete the account one more time to really delete the iCloud account.

SMASH BANDITS CHEATS / HACKS by Hutch Games Ltd

Hi,

Just want to share some cheats and/or hacks i find during my time playing Smash Bandits game by Hutch Games Ltd.

Version: 1.02.16

Escape from Jail without bribing/spending coins/hire a lawyer:
Requires Jailbreak: NO

When your wanted level reached max level, you will be caught in jail.

You have the following options to continue playing games:

1. Hire a lawyer. Which cost you a lot of coins

2. Bribe the cops. Which cost you 2 coins

3. Ask for help from Facebook friends

4. Wait for the jail time to be finished

All the option are sucks because:

Option 1: you will spend a lot of coins

Option 2: you will spend 2 coins every time get caught by having max wanted level

Option 3: you share your Facebook profile with the game maker

Option 4: you should wait for the time to be up and then start playing again

Using version 1.02.16 downloaded from Apple AppStore, you can simply do the following to continue playing without waiting or sharing Facebook profile and asking help from friends and even without spending coins: change the device time to somewhere in the future!

Yes it will work!

So let say, you were caught in jail and have 30 minutes of waiting time before you continue your play, so just simply set your device time and date 31 minutes in advance (n+1 minute where n is the waiting time) and then you are free to play again.

Dont forget after you are free from jail,set back the date to its original date and time then go back to game and start playing!

The detail to change the date and time of your iOS device is as follows (for those who doesnt know):

1. Once you caught in jail, press home button to go to home screen. Look for Settings app

2. Click Settings -> General -> Date & Time

3. If your device setup for Date & Time is set automatically, turn that off first

4. After turning it off, you should see 'Set Date & Time' option. Click on it.

5. Adjust the date and time in advance as much as you need. Remember the n+1 formula.

6. Go back to Settings screen, your date setting should be applied.

7. Go back to game, you should be free by now.

8. Before continue playing, set the date & time back to normal by redo the steps from step 1 to step 6. And you are good!

Redo the above steps everytime you get caught in game.
